EXACTLY one year ago, May 1, Courtyard by Marriott Iloilo opened its doors for its guests. Since then, it has made its mark in the Iloilo hospitality scene bringing many firsts for both locals and foreigners alike. On the same date happening this year, the hotel celebrates a milestone of getting through 365 days of genuine service filled with the passion that moves both its associates and guests forward.

On the night of the anniversary party, everyone who’s anyone was invited to a gathering mounted on looking back to a year that has been. Ms. Cleofe Albiso, the hotel’s General Manager together with the proud executive committee, welcomed everyone with words of gratefulness recalling all the support and trust that all guests, partners and associates have invested since the day the hotel started with its operations. A video was then played to show the entire year’s big events and milestones that tug everyone’s heart strings.

The rest of the night was filled up with entertainment rendered by not just locals but as well as international performers. One of which was Ms. Jing Jing Fegi-Zoleta, Hong Kong Disneyland’s very own voice of Nala from the Lion King for more than a decade. She serenaded the audience with known Disney classics that made everyone feel like a child once again. Games were also played and a raffle draw awarding international lunch and dinner buffets gift certificates were given away. Everyone though kept their fingers crossed to take home overnight stay gift certificates not just from the celebrating hotel but also from Sheraton Manila, Clark Marriott Pampanga, Manila Marriott Hotel and also a 3 Nights/4 Days voucher from W Hotel Kuala Lumpur
