BACOLOD City – Having no opposition, the proposed P1.7-billion development project beside the provincial capitol is “good to go.”
Sangguniang Panlalawigan member Salvador Escalante – chairman of the committee on finance, budget and appropriations – said this yesterday, adding that the project contract will be given to the Dynamic Builders, Inc. should there be no “challengers” until Friday.
The private-public partnership project includes the construction of a nine-storey building which will house commercial spaces for lease.
The building will be constructed on a lot where the Provincial Administration Center is currently located.
Escalante said offices at the center will be transferred to the Philippine National Bank (PNB) building which is also located beside the capitol.
“We are currently negotiating with the PNB to transfer the said offices to its building’s 2nd and 3rd floors,” Escalante added./PN
