FILIPINOS registered to the National ID System can now conveniently access their official digital national ID through the eGovPH mobile application. This digital version of the national ID is
designed to provide a faster, more secure, and hassle-free way for citizens to present their
identity when transacting with both government and private institutions.
To access the digital national ID, users simply need to register and get verified on the eGovPH
App. Once verified, they can view their digital ID anytime from their mobile device. The digital
version carries the same validity and functionality as the physical national ID, complete with the cardholder’s photo, demographic information, and a scannable QR code for
authentication.
The app is available on major platforms. By visiting https://national-id.gov.ph, users will be
redirected to the official download links via the Huawei AppGallery, Apple App Store, or
Google Play Store.
While the feature is now accessible to the public, an official launching ceremony for the digital
national ID through the eGovPH platform is set to take place later this year.
