BACOLOD City – A suspected operator of a drug den and five individuals were arrested in a sting operation in Barangay 5, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
Joint operation of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Negros Occidental and PDEA-Guimaras led to the arrest of Jon Antonio (drug den maintainer), Jessie Santa Ana, Jimelo Gaspe, Ramil Mahinay, Efren Ejara, and a minor around 5:15 p.m. on Sept. 28.
The operatives were able to seize suspected shabu valued at around P136,000.
The suspects were now under the custody of the PDEA-Negros Occidental.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against them. (With PDEA-6/PN)
