AFTER flying to Europe last month to shoot a film in Denmark, Elisse Joson said she is still enjoying her vacation time in the US this month.
During a media conference, Elisse was asked if she misses being part of a love team. She and former reel-and-real life partner McCoy de Leon parted ways in 2018. The 24-year-old actress said she is happy being a solo actress.
“Ever since naman, kahit nung magka-love team kami, lagi kong sinasabi sa lahat na gusto kong maging wider ‘yung matatanggap kong iba ibang proyekto. So one positive thing siguro na nakuha ko nung nawala, nung hindi na ako nasa isang love team is ‘yung chance na magkaroon ng iba ibang role and mas matuto ako. Kasi feeling ko dun ako talaga natututo and luckily, may mga taong naniwala. So very blessed ako when it comes to that,” she said.
She revealed that she is focused on her top two priorities this year.
“Masasabi ko hanggang ngayon, I’m still enjoying ‘yung hindi na-ta-typecast, getting different roles kasi dun talaga ako kumukuha ng madaming madaming learnings. And ‘yung love team I think parang hindi na ako nandoon kumbaga. Maybe someday magkakatrabaho ulit, we never know. Like I said, mas gusto ko rin kasi ‘yung tahimik when it comes to my personal relationships. Sa ngayon, work and my personal (life) are like two separate things,” she added. (Push)
