KALIBO, Aklan – A fetus was dug up at a pig pen construction site in Sitio Ilawod, Barangay Baybay, Makato, Aklan on Nov. 30.
It was buried some two feet below the ground.
Police said a construction worker found it.
Makato acting chief of police Lieutenant Merriefin Carisusa said the fetus – a boy – would be reburied with respect in the cemetery “sa tulong ng local government unit of Makato (but) maghihintay pa tayo ng opisyal na resulta galing sa mga forensics natin.”
As this was being written, the police of Makato remained clueless as to who buried the fetus and how long had it been buried./PN
