ILOILO City – A fisherman charged with attempted rape failed to attend his court hearing and was thus arrested in Barangay Tanza, Estancia, Iloilo.
Judge Rogelio Balagtas of the Regional Trial Court Branch 66 issued a bench warrant against 26-year-old Remos Posecion, a police report showed.
Police staged his apprehension around 11:30 a.m. on Feb. 16.
The suspect was taken to the Estancia police station.
No bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
