BACOLOD City – A fisherman who was believed to have drowned was found dead in Barangay Enclaro, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental.
The fatality was identified as 39-year-old resident Jonilo Tizo, a police report showed.
Tizo was found lifeless by resident John Rey Castillo around 2:30 a.m. on Jan. 9, the report added.
Residents said they last saw Tizo drinking liquor around 8 p.m. on Jan. 8.
The victim’s body was brought to a local mortuary for a “post mortem” examination.
Officers of the Binalbagan municipal police station were investigating the incident./PN
