Gasoline pump prices up anew; diesel, kerosene down

FUEL retailers on Monday, October 20, announced mixed movement on pump prices of petroleum products, with those of gasoline set to be hiked and those for diesel and kerosene to be rolled back effective today.

In separate advisories, Petron Corp., Seaoil Philippines Corp. and Shell Pilipinas Corp. said they will hike prices per liter of gasoline by P0.10, while rolling back those of diesel by P0.70, and kerosene by P0.60.

Cleanfuel and Petro Gazz will implement the same changes, excluding kerosene which they do not carry.

The adjustments will take effect at 6 a.m. today.

Other firms have yet to make similar announcements for the week as of writing.

The Department of Energy-Oil Industry Management Bureau (DOE-OIMB) earlier projected rollbacks for this week, citing the crude oil oversupply, the cuts on the global oil demand forecast, and the dissipation of geopolitical risks.

Fuel retailers last week hiked prices per liter of gasoline by P0.30, while rolling back kerosene by P0.20. There were no changes for diesel.

This brought year-to-date adjustments to a net increase of P15.20 per liter for gasoline, P17.85 per liter for diesel, and P5.85 per liter for kerosene as of October 14, 2025. (GMA Integrated News)
