ILOILO City – A resident of Barangay Buntatala, Jaro district complained to the police that a neighbor trained a gun on him.

The 40-year-old Jimmy Pablico said he felt threatened, a police report showed.

Pablico told the police he was buying beer for his brother when a public utility jeepney driven by James Subosa, 33, of the same barangay stopped before him.

Subosa then pulled out a firearm of an unknown caliber and trained it on him before speeding away, Pablico said.

Pablico was clueless on Subosa’s motive. Subosa cannot be reached for comment as of this writing.

Police referred the case to the barangay lupon./PN
