ILOILO City – Police raided a house in Barangay Maninila, Miag-ao, Iloilo, leading to the recovery of an unlicensed gun and ammunitions.
A .45-caliber pistol with two magazines and 18 live bullets were recovered from Ronan John Austria, police report showed.
Policemen of Miag-ao conducted the raid on the strength of a search warrant around 7:05 a.m. on Monday.
Austria was detained in the lockup cell of the municipal police station, facing charges.
The weapons were now in the custody of the police./PN
