ILOILO City – The Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) has intensified its campaign against illegal gambling roleta and imbudo across the city.
This after ICPO director, Colonel Kim Legada, received reports that there are some groups of people operating illegal activities especially in peryahan or carnival.
Reports showed that these illegal gamblers use their rides as front, but inside the carnival there are illegal gambling like roleta and imbudo.
Among the areas where illegal gambling exist are Barangay San Rafael and near the public plaza in Mandurriao district.
“Basta may taya na kwarta illegal ina and we have to stop it especially that they have no permit to operate. Okay lang kun mga rides kay indi na sugal. Ang worst may mga minors pa so I have to address these matters,” said Legada.
The ICPO director will also check at the city hall if they secured permit to operate.
Data from the ICPO showed that two years ago, the police raided a group of illegal gamblers who operated roleta and imbudo near Jaro plaza./PN
