BACOLOD City – A truck driver was arrested for illegal possession of firearm in Barangay Punao in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
The 43-year-old Henry Recopelacion, a resident of Barangay San Isidro in Calatrava, Negros Occidental, yielded a .22-caliber revolver loaded with four live bullets, a police report showed.
The suspect was apprehended around 11:45 a.m. on Feb. 4, it added.
He was detained in the custodial facility of the San Carlos City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
