ILOILO City – For alleged illegal fishing, a fisherman was arrested in Barangay Punta Buro, Ajuy, Iloilo.
The 36-year-old Julius Andres of Barangay Lo-ong, Concepcion, Iloilo was caught around 8 p.m. on Dec. 21, police said.
Andres was nabbed after local authorities chanced upon him fishing in marine protected area without permit.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the Ajuy municipal police station.
Charges will be filed against him./PN
