Iloilo City gov’t to establish ‘cluster clinics’ per district

ILOILO City – The city government will be establishing what it calls as “cluster clinics” in seven districts – City Proper, La Paz, Lapuz, Jaro, Mandurriao, Molo, and Arevalo.

The clinics will be stationed in district covered gyms and serve residents seeking medical checkup, according to Jeck Conlu, spokesperson of the city government’s coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) team.

The clinics will be open from Monday to Friday and observe regular working hours (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.).

City government doctors will man the cluster clinics which will serve as “extensions” of existing health centers in every district.

The goal is to expand the medical services of the health centers, said Conlu.

Swabbing teams for COVID-19 testing will also be posted in the cluster clinics.

But Conlu clarified: “Indi buot silingon nga tanan nga magakadto sa aton cluster clinics mapa-swab dayun. Depende ina sa assessment sang aton nga doctor.”/PN
