ILOILO City – Forty employees from various departments of the Iloilo City Government, along with three top-performing offices, were recognized for exemplary service during the awarding rites ahead of the city’s 88th Charter Day celebration on Monday, Aug. 18.
Mayor Raisa Treñas said the awards symbolize the city’s appreciation for the hard work of public servants whose dedication has contributed to Iloilo’s progress.
“This is the moment in the year when we pause to recognize the extraordinary dedication and service of our city government employees and departments. Each and every one of you has contributed to these milestones. Whether your role was big or small, please know that your efforts are equally valued. You have all been part of our city’s progress and prosperity. I am truly proud to say that Iloilo City has the finest set of public servants,” Treñas said.

The City Treasurer’s Office was hailed as the Top Performing Department, followed by the General Services Office and the City Health Office.
