MANILA – Four Ilonggo dancers displayed their dominance in Malaysia’s 18th Crystal Dancesport Championship 2020 held over the weekend via Zoom.
The dancers, who were part of MB Dance Academy of Ilonggo Artistic Director Matthew C. Balbastro, took home three golds, three bronzes and two silver medals.
Dana Angelica Galfo garnered two golds in the Amateur 5 Dance and Amateur 4 Dance Rising Star category.
Leanne Reigh Lanceta, meanwhile, captured gold in the pre-amateur event while netting a silver medal in the Solo Rumba Under 16.
John Michael Tamudtamud, on the other hand, came up with three medals – two bronzes in the Solo Chacha and Solo Rumba and silver in the Solo Jive.
Joemel Jan Magallanes, for his part, added a bronze medal in the Amateur 4 Dance Rising Star event./PN
