BACOLOD City – For engaging in an illegal numbers game, a man was arrested in Barangay Villamonte.
He was the 52-year-old resident Roberto Ardiente, a police report showed.
Ardiente was caught around 6 a.m. on Wednesday while collecting bets for the numbers game jai-alai.
Officers from Police Station 4 recovered from Ardiente’s possession 24 tipsters with codename “Victory,” a betting stub, a ballpen, and P244 gambling money.
Ardiente was detained at the police station’s lockup facility and will face appropriate charges./PN
