AS THE Philippines marks September as the beginning of the Christmas season, various memes of Jose Mari Chan have been posted on social media.
In an interview with TeleRadyo’s Sakto, the “Christmas in our Hearts” singer was asked about his reaction to the said memes.
“I feel complimented that I’m associated with the most joyful season of the year. Thank God for the music. Thank God indeed,” he said.
He was also asked about his thoughts on being in the same memes with Mariah Carrey whose “All I Want for Christmas” is also a mega hit during the Christmas season.
“She’s one of my respected artists. One day it’s my dream na sana she could sing one of my songs,” he stated.
Jose added, “I’m not dreaming of singing with her because I may not be able to reach her key, her pitch. Her voice is so powerful. Mine is just soothing, crooning. But if she could sing one of my song, dream come true ‘yon.”(Push)
