KALIBO, Aklan – Suspected marijuana leaves valued around P3,000 was seized in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Estancia, Kalibo, Aklan.
Tyrone Yves Amante and Arnel Maximo Retino yielded the suspected illegal drugs, according to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Western Visayas.
The suspects were nabbed after they sold suspected marijuana leaves to an undercover officer around 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 19, it added.
Amante and Retino were detained and charged with violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.(With a report from PDEA-6/PN)
