ILOILO City – Today, the Ilonggos will stand together and transform their collective voice into a powerful force for progress and victory of Iloilo City.
Another historic and powerful gathering is set to take place at La Paz Plaza at 3 p.m. today as Team Uswag led by mayoralty candidate Inday Raisa Treñas and reelectionist Vice Mayor Jeffrey Ganzon will hold its Miting de Avance dubbed as “Kauswagan kag Kadalag-an 2025”.
With an estimated 40,000 Ilonggos expected to attend in full force, the event marks the rallying strength of Team Uswag as the election approaches. It highlights the strong and growing support for Team Uswag as a dominant force in Iloilo City’s political landscape.
Mayor Jerry P. Treñas, a steadfast pillar of support for Team Uswag, stressed that voting straight for the Team Uswag slate is a vote for the sustained progress of Iloilo City and the well-being of every Ilonggo family.
“Nagapangayo guid ako bulig sa tanan nga taga-Ciudad sang Iloilo para sa Treñas-Ganzon slate kag sa mga councilors sang Team Uswag. Guinapangayo ko nga buligan ta man ang Uswag Ilonggo party-list,” said Mayor Treñas.
The city mayor is confident that Iloilo City will be in good hands under the unified leadership of Team Uswag, headed by her daughter Inday Raisa and Vice Mayor Ganzon.
“Padayunon ta ang kauswagan sa ciudad. Damo na guid ang nalab-ot sang aton ciudad sa pagbinuligay bangod sang mga leaders naton. Budlay kon mag guinamo aton ciudad naman. Kaluoy sang mga pumuluyo kag ma-untat ang development naton,” he underscored.
In addition to Treñas, Team Uswag has also secured the significant endorsement of Iloilo’s highly respected leaders, including former senator Franklin Drilon, Iloilo’s Gov. Arthur “Toto” Defensor Jr., and former governor Arthur Defensor Sr.
