KRIS Aquino was not alone during the premiere night of her latest movie, “I Love You Hater” on July 10, at SM Megamall.
Aquino was seen with Attorney Gideon Peña, who is being romantically linked to her.
Kris, who skipped the red-carpet proceedings, was escorted by her lawyer friend Atty. Gideon Peña.
Kris Aquino entered the backstage of SM Megamall’s cinema together with lawyer-professor Atty. Gideon Peña, whom she described as her good friend.
The two – who were noticed to be wearing the same shirt color – were seated beside each other inside the cinema. However, after sitting down, Kris clarified, “He’s not my date. He’s just my friend.”
When asked about their status, the two clarified that they are “just good friends.”
A lawyer and professor, Peña has been exchanging messages on social media with Aquino.
They recently caught the interest of followers when Aquino specifically thanked Peña for consistently showing her “genuine concern, friendship, respect, and trust.”
Kris and Atty. Peña also left the premiere night together. It was in June 29 when Kris dismissed a brewing romance between her and the lawyer, after a netizen expressed happiness for the actress-influencer. Kris stressed, “He’s really a FRIEND-wag na natin gawing complicated.”
In “I Love You, Hater,” Kris plays Sasha, a top social media influencer who is looking for a new assistant. The characters of Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia will battle it out so they can be picked to be Sasha’s new employee. (ABS-CBN News)
