BACOLOD City – Police arrested a laborer in a drug buy-bust operation on Dreyfus Street in Barangay Poblacion, Bago City, Negros Occidental.
He was Dante Vicente Infante, 45, of Purok Sampaguita in the said village, a police report showed.
An undercover officer initially bought from Infante a sachet of suspected shabu for P300.
Four more sachets of the prohibited substance were seized during Infante’s arrest around 12:20 a.m. on Nov. 15. The Bago police also impounded his motorcycle.
The suspect was detained and charged with violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
