ILOILO City – A man was found dead in a rice field in Barangay Manaulan, Lambunao, Iloilo yesterday morning.
Police said resident Nonito Agustino died of gunshot wounds. He was holding a .45-caliber pistol when discovered.
Residents told police investigators they heard bursts of gun fire around 10 p.m. on Sunday, April 25.
Police launched a manhunt operation against the suspect whom they have yet to publicly name./PN
