ILOILO City – Why did a 59-year-old laborer shoot his neighbor?
Norberto Mayang of Barangay Don Esteban, Lapuz district was detained at the La Paz police station.
Mayang was accused of firing at the 25-year-old Anthony Crispolon in their village on June 17.
Crispolon was buying cigarettes from a store at around 7 p.m. when Mayang shot him on both legs, police stated in a report, citing investigation.
Mayang tried to escape but was later arrested.
Crispolon was confined at the West Visayas State University Medical Center.
Police have yet to determine the motive as of this writing./PN
