Live-in partners yield P408K ‘shabu’ in Cabatuan drug sting

CABATUAN, Iloilo – Authorities apprehended a high-value suspect and his live-in partner in a buy-bust operation in Cabatuan town on Saturday, May 3.

The primary suspect, identified as alias “Kit-Kit,” 50, and his live-in partner, alias “Bodac,” 43, were caught with approximately 60 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P408,000.

The operation was executed by officers of the Station Drug Enforcement Team (SDET) of the Cabatuan Municipal Police Station led by officer-in-charge Captain Aileen M. Lacrite, in coordination with the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) Team 2.

Both suspects are now in police custody. Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, will be filed against them./PN
