BACOLOD City – For touching an electric line, a man died in Barangay Villamonte.

The 23-year-old Jhon Kenneth Española of Purok Herbabuena was assembling a beam runner on the third floor of a newly constructed building at Luis Hervias National High School around 3:45 p.m. on Aug. 21, a police report showed.

Española touched the main electric line of the Central Negros Electric Cooperative and was electrocuted.

He was rushed to the Doctor’s Hospital in the city but died along the way./PN
