BACOLOD City – A man died “on the spot”. He was shot and stabbed by his drinking partner in Purok Saging, Barangay Gil Montilla, Sipalay City on Monday.
Marvin Amalla was a resident of 7th Avenue, Doña Inez, Barangay San Jose, Sipalay City.
According to the police, Amalla and the suspect, 32-year-old Ryan Bandiola, went on a drinking binge. Inebriated, Amalla allegedly ran amok, prompting Bandiola to shoot and stab the victim.
Ryan was arrested by responding policemen, and it was later found out that he had a pending arrest warrant for murder./PN
