ILOILO – A man died after being stabbed by two brothers in Barangay Palanguia, Pototan town at around 4 p.m. on Sunday, September 22.
The victim, identified as Jeuz Parreño, 27, and a resident of Barangay Alegria, Dingle town, succumbed to multiple stab wounds.
Captain Jersey Besas, chief of the Pototan Municipal Police Station (MPS), said a heated argument ensued between Parreño and the suspects identified as Jerol and Jobert Pedregosa.
As Parreño turned his back, the suspects allegedly attacked the former.
Pototan police apprehended the suspects during a hot pursuit operation./PN
