BACOLOD City – A 27-year-old man was stabbed by his younger brother in Purok Malipayon, Barangay 4, Hinigaran, Negros Occidental.
Kent Morcilla sustained wounds on his stomach and hand. He was recuperating at the Hinigran Medical Clinic.
According to Police Staff Sergeant Francis Solinap of the Hinigaran police station, the victim and his younger brother Kenneth Morcilla, 20, were cleaning the drainage canal when a heated argument ensued between them.
Solinap said the siblings had a misunderstanding over their salary, prompting the suspect to stab his brother.
As of this writing, the younger Morcilla remained at large, police added./PN
