BACOLOD City – For illegal possession of firearm, a man was arrested in Barangay 4, Victorias City, Negros Occidental.
Resident Jeco Presidente, 43, was caught at a police checkpoint around 10:30 p.m. on Feb. 10, a police report showed.
When frisked, Presidente yielded a .38-caliber revolver loaded with five live bullets.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the Victorias City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
