BACOLOD City – Two men were arrested in an antidrug operation in Purok Bakyas Laurel, Barangay Mansilingan.
Joelan Benjamin and his brother Jonel were caught after they allegedly sold suspected shabu to a poseur-buyer around 7 p.m. on Wednesday, a police report showed.
Antidrug personnel from Police Station 7 led by Chief Inspector Sherlock Gabana staged the sting operation.
The Benjamins, residents of Mansilingan, yielded three sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P5,000, police said.
Aside from the suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia were also recovered from the brothers.
They were detained in the lockup facility of Police Station 7 and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
