ANTIQUE – A minor was arrested for allegedly stealing three cellular phones worth approximately P141,000 at a house in Barangay Poblacion 1, Hamtic town.
Alias “Toto” is now under the custody of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) for proper disposition.
According to Major Horizon Villanueva, officer-in-charge of the Hamtic Municipal Police Station (MPS), the suspect gained entry at the room by destroying the window screen and removing the jalousie early morning on Sunday, July 21.
While the owner was sleeping, he carted away iPhone 14 Pro Max worth P92,000, Poco F5 Pro worth P44,000, and Samsung A4 worth P4,000, Villanueva said.
The Hamtic MPS added that the suspect’s whereabouts were tracked in Sibalom town on the same day when he attempted to open the iPhone./PN
