BACOLOD City – He was hiding from the police for about 11 years.
The 34-year-old Rongie Guarino was caught in his residence in Barangay Mambulac, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
His apprehension was staged on the strength of an arrest warrant for the crime of murder around 9 a.m. on Jan. 27, a police report showed.
The suspect was detained in the Silay City police station’s lockup facility.
The court recommended no bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
