One-stop gov’t service fair set to boost public access, cut red tape; 20 agencies to converge in Pavia for EODB Month celebration

ILOILO – To streamline government services and bring them closer to people, 20 national and regional government agencies will converge at Robinsons Place in Pavia, Iloilo on May 26 for the Grand Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Fair.

Organized by the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) in partnership with the municipal government of Pavia, the fair marks the centerpiece event of the Ease of Doing Business Month celebration in Western Visayas.

It aims to promote government efficiency and transparency by allowing citizens and entrepreneurs to access a wide range of services—on the spot and in one venue.

“This collaborative initiative is all about bringing essential government services closer to our community,” the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) Region 6 said in a statement. “Our dedicated team, along with all our partner agencies, will be on-site and ready to assist you with a wide range of services.”

Participating agencies and their key services include:

* ARTA Regional Field Office – Western Visayas – Walk-in complaints, inquiries on RA 11032 (EODB law), orientation requests, and Citizen’s Charter workshops.

* LGU of PaviaBusiness permits via eBOSS and local product sales.

* Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) – Passport, apostille, and consular service inquiries.

* Government Service Insurance System (GSIS)GTouch enrollment, claims, loans, and benefits assistance.

* PAG-IBIG FundLoan applications, member registration, data updates, and Loyalty Card Plus services.

* Land Transportation Office (LTO)Plate releases for Pavia TODA units.

* Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)Civil registry document requests and information assistance.

* PhilHealthKonsulta registration, MDR printing, and member/dependent updates.

* Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR)TIN inquiries, updates, and ORUS assistance.
