ROXAS City – This City Development Council (CDC) has approved the P10,919,713,064 Annual Investment Program (AIP) of Roxas for the fiscal year 2024–2025, to be obtained from local funds and external sources.
The AIP included the P1.226 billion local fund, which shall comprise the development fund, children fund, disaster risk reduction and management fund, gender and development fund, special education fund and senior citizens and persons with disabilities fund, among others.
The city’s P9.6 billion external fund would provide for projects in the general public services sector, social services, economic services and the environment and natural resources service sector.
Further, the CDC approved Roxas City’s development fund, amounting to P172,683,271, which will be allocated for constructing a new Roxas City Hall and City Government and Business Center.
It will also cover repairs, rehabilitation or construction of the city and barangay roads, drainage systems, power supply systems, promenades and parks, among other infrastructure projects.
The city’s development fund will also support priority development projects in barangays, including the “Bugas para sa taga-Roxas Food Security Program.”/PN
