ILOILO City – Around P36.3 million worth of shabu and marijuana were confiscated in less than a month of operations, or from July 1 to July 27, across Western Visayas.
Data from the Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) showed that 151 suspects were arrested from a total of 114 antidrug operations. Of those arrested, 54 were classified as high-value targets.
The PRO-6 also recovered a total of 147 loose firearms, 201 of which were seized through police operations.
In the campaign against fugitives, 206 individuals were apprehended through arrest warrants across the region. Of the number, 47 were accused of heinous crimes or belonged to the top 10 most wanted list.
“I congratulated my personnel for a job well done especially against illegal drugs and fugitives. I’m also thankful for the community and stakeholders for helping us.
