BACOLOD City – Policemen raided a house in Hacienda Basa 2, Barangay 13, Victorias City, Negros Occidental around 4:30 a.m. on Aug. 22.
They recovered an improvised shotgun (sulpak) and a .38 revolver without serial number with four live bullets.
Roqueto Loquinario, 60, and son John Mark, 27, were subsequently arrested.
Judge Leonardo Facultad of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 69 (Silay City, Negros Occidental) issued the search warrant on Aug. 21.
The suspects were detained at the Victorias City police station. Charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act would be filed against them./PN
