BACOLOD City — Panasiatic Call Centers’ employment caravan is ongoing. It will be held in this city this week, said general manager Siony Hijara.

Hijara said the caravan started in the 5th District of Negros Occidental last week.

Starting tomorrow, Hijara said they will visit two barangays every day.

She said they need to hire at least 100 people every week for their second building.

Sangguniang Panlalawigan member Alain Gatuslao helped facilitate the company’s caravan in the 5th District.

Hijara said they were able to gather hundreds of applicants.

“Some feel they are ready for the recruitment process, others feel they should take the 100-day (call center) course in the Negros Occidental Language and Information Technology Center (NOLITC),” she said.

The caravan in the 5th District was in partnership with NOLITC and the Office of the Governor.

Hijara said they are hoping to hire 1,000–2,000 employees before the end of the year.

She said they need 4,000 employees to occupy the second building./PN
