WHAT happens when two people, bound by the memory of first love, continue to find their way back into each other’s lives?
That’s the premise of the South Korean romance series “Surely Tomorrow,” featuring Park Seo-jun and Won Ji-an, which will be available for streaming to Filipino audiences soon.
“Surely Tomorrow” follows Lee Kyeong-do (Seo-jun) and Seo Ji-woo (Ji-an), who fall in love in their early 20s, part ways, and later reunite in their late 20s for another chance at love, only to separate once again.
Years later, fate reunites them when Kyeong-do, now a journalist covering a scandal, crosses paths with Ji-woo, the wife of the man at the center of the controversy.
The series is directed by Im Hyun-wook, known for the romance hit “King the Land,” and written by Yoo Young-ah, whose credits include “Thirty-Nine” and “Divorce Attorney Shin.”
Seo-jun is known for series such as “Fight for My Way,” “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim,” “Itaewon Class” and “Gyeongseong Creature,” as well as films like “Midnight Runners,” “The Divine Fury,” and “Concrete Utopia.”
Meanwhile, Ji-an has starred in the romance drama “Heartbeat” and hit survival series “Squid Game.” (ABS-CBN News)
