CONTRARY to the storyline of “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim?”, Paulo Avelino and Kim Chiu, who top bill the upcoming local adaptation of the South Korean series, personally discourage romance in the workplace.
“It is always to be professional. I know in some cases, you can’t help but fall in love with someone in your workplace. But maybe, just choose an appropriate setting. But for me, I always want to be professional,” Avelino said during the show’s press conference on Saturday, March 9.
“Hindi maiwasan ganon, lalo na kung magkakilala kayo, ilang oras sa isang araw siya lang kausap mo. Pero mas importante siguro mas maayos trabaho kaysa personal na buhay mo. Siguro mag-suffer work… baka hindi ka makapag-concentrate sa work. Mas priority ‘yong trabaho,” Chiu dded.
The pair, however, said the series’ love story between secretary and her boss would still sweep viewers off their feet.
“Mapapaisip ka [if] may ganon ba na lalaki sa secretary. It is a very romantic type of boss,” Chiu explained.
“What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim” will begin streaming on March 18, 2024.
