ILOILO City – Police were now hunting for the suspect in picking the bag of a woman at a drug store in Barangay Nonoy.
A man took her wallet from her bag while she was buying at Mesa Drug, the 52-year-old Amalia Tacdoro of Barangay Bugnay, Jordan, Guimaras told the police.
In a police blotter, Tacdoro said the incident happened at around 1 p.m. on Jan. 16 yet but she reported it to Police Station 1 just this March 7.
Investigators managed to identify the suspect through their rogues’ gallery – the 58-year-old Felix Po, a resident of Barangay Balon, Davao City temporarily staying in Barangay Calumpang, Molo.
Tacdoro claimed that her brown wallet contained P1,200 cash, community tax certificate and cash card as beneficiary of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program./PN
