BACOLOD City – Three men wanted for illegal drug charges were arrested in separate occasions inside school premises on Monday in Sagay City, Negros Occidental.
Many locals were at schools that day for the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections.
Senior Inspector Ellendie Rebusquillo, deputy chief of the Sagay City police station, led the arrest of the following:
* Ben Jireh Capitle Radan, 28, of Purok Kakahuyan, Barangay Rizal
* Joey Rey Apurado Ceriaco, 26, of Katalbas Street, Barangay Poblacion 1
* Joemar Ebiernes Eduardo, 33, of Purok 3, Barangay Poblacion
Radan was arrested at around 7 p.m. at the Alfredo Marañon Elementary School in Barangay Poblacion Rizal.
At around 4:30 p.m. Ceriaco and Eduardo were caught at the Jose B. Puey Elementary School in Barangay Poblacion 2.
Officers served the suspects with a warrant of arrest issued by Executive Judge Reginald Fuentebella of the Regional Trial Court Branch 73 in Sagay City on Aug. 10 last year.
The court set a P200,000 bail bond for each of the suspects for their temporary liberty.
