Prisaa girds for nat’l tilts

BACOLOD City — The Private Schools Athletic Association (Prisaa) Board of Trustees will meet at 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 8 at the CSM Hall of John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University–Molo in Iloilo City.

Iloilo City’s hosting of the National Prisaa Meet from April 12 to 18 next year will be tackled, Prisaa national chairman Emmanuel Angeles said.

The Board of Trustees will also inspect the venues and check the preparations of the organizing committee.

Regional Prisaa presidents or their representatives from 17 regions are expected to attend, said Angeles.

Regional technical committees from July 16 to 17 attended the National Prisaa Technical Working Committee Meeting-Workshop at the Angeles University Foundation in Angeles City, Pampanga.

The activity aimed at improving the hosting of National Prisaa.

Host Western Visayas will defend the title it reclaimed in April in Tagum City, Davao Del Norte.

It collected 99 gold, 54 silver, and 74 bronze medals, dethroning Central Visayas.

Central Visayas had 80 gold, 42 silver, and 29 bronze medals to place first runner-up.
