DONGBO

ILOILO City – A reshuffling of police officers is expected two weeks from now as a result of change in the administration, according to the Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6).

But three officers will be relieved ahead of June 30, this week to be exact.

First is the chief of San Enrique, Iloilo police station, Major Robert Jason Pancha. Effective today he will be reassigned to the Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO).

His reassignment was in relation to his failure to resolve the death of 70-year-old German national Wolfgang Knorr who was shot dead in his houae in Barangay Camiri, San Enrique.

San Enrique mayor Rosario Mediatrix “Trixie” Fernandez also sought Pancha’s relief for not attending meetings she called.

On June 22, the chief of the PRO-6’s Regional Drug Enforcement Unit (RDEU-6), Police Lieutenant Colonel Mark Anthony Darroca, will be leaving after a two-year stint.

Darroca will be given a new assigned – Silay police station. He will replace Police Lieutenant Colonel Robert Petate who will be out for schooling.
