ILOILO – The provincial government has opened applications for its Iskolar sang Iloilo Program (ISIP) for School Year 2025–2026, offering full scholarships to 125 financially challenged but academically deserving incoming college freshmen across the province.
Promoting educational equity, ISIP allocates25 scholarship slots per congressional district.
The program targets students from low-income families — those earning not more than ₱180,000 annually—who plan to enroll in state universities or colleges (SUCs) within Iloilo.
Launched through Provincial Ordinance No. 20 in 1996, ISIP is a four- to five-year scholarship program designed to support underprivileged students with strong academic records.
To qualify, applicants must be bona fide residents of Iloilo, have a General Weighted Average (GWA) of 90% or higher in senior high school, and possess good moral character.
Scholars will receive various forms of financial support, including food and fare allowance, learning resource assistance, incentives for Latin honors, and allowances for on-the-job training and thesis completion.
The application period runs from June 16 to July 31, 2025.
Interested applicants must submit the following requirements to the Human Resource Management and Development Office (HRMDO), 3rd Floor, Iloilo Provincial Capitol:
* Senior High School Form 138
* Proof of income (Certificate of Indigency, ITR, or BIR Tax Exemption)
* Certificate of Residency from the barangay
* Valid school ID
