ILOILO City – Police nabbed a suspected drug pusher in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Sambag, Jaro district.
Arjie Betita, 39, was a resident of Barangay Poblacion, Carles, Iloilo and temporarily resides in Barangay Sambag.
His arrest came after he allegedly sold suspected shabu to a poseur-buyer around 4:35 p.m. on Oct. 25.
When frisked, Betita yielded 10 more grams of the prohibited substance worth P100,000.
Detained in the lockup cell of the Jaro police station, the suspect faces charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
