ILOILO City – For illegal gambling, four individuals were nabbed in Barangay Pasil, New Lucena, Iloilo.
Jenelyn Catalan, 31; Ma. Ede Soldevilla, 48; Silverio Soldevilla, 45; and Lolito Sindol, 42 – all residents of the village – were caught playing the illegal cards game pusoy around 3:30 p.m. on No. 12.
Recovered from their possession were P570 bet money and a deck of playing cards.
The suspects were taken to the municipal police station, facing charges for violating Presidential Decree 1602 that outlaws illegal gambling./PN
