Ramos leads way as Levanga routs Koshigaya in Japan B.League

MANILA – Dwight Ramos regained his shooting touch to lead Levanga Hokkaido to a 97-73 rout over Koshigaya Alphas in the Japan B.League Division 1 at the Koshigaya City Gymnasium.

Ramos concluded the match with a team-high of 18 points, including four three-point connections, to go with four rebounds, four assists, and three steals as Hokkaido moved up to 18-29 in the standings.

“It feels great. My teammates believe in me, so I was able to take shots when I was open, and I think that led to today’s result,” the Gilas Pilipinas mainstay said in a post-game interview.

Ryan Kriener contributed 17 points, eight rebounds, and five steals, Shuto Terazano added 16 markers, while Thomas Welsh and Terry Allen finished with 11 apiece for Levanga.

Shun Matsuyama had 26 points, including five three-pointers to lead the Alphas, while Tim Soares and LJ Peak added 15 and 12 points, respectively, as they fell to a 15-32 win-loss card.

Meanwhile, Ilonggo Kiefer Ravena also made his presence felt offensively as Yokohama B-Corsairs notched a 78-61 victory over Ibaraki Robots at the Yokohama International Pool.

The former NLEX Road Warriors guard tallied 10 points, five assists, and three rebounds as the B-Corsairs improved to a 21-26 win-loss slate. The Robots dropped to 9-38 in the standings.

Bobby Ray Parks Jr. ended up with 13 points, two assists, and one rebound as Osaka Evessa (23-24) bowed to Shimane Susanoo Magic (30-17), 95-73, at the Tottori Prefectural Gymnasium./PN
