MAKATO, Aklan – A young laborer charged with robbery was arrested on Oct. 23 at his house in Barangay Poblacion here.
The 18-year-old Jack Simpron was taken to the Makato police station at around 10 a.m.
Policemen served Simpron with a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Bienvinido Barrios of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 3 based in Kalibo, Aklan.
Judge Barrios recommended a bail bond of P72,000 for the suspect’s temporary liberty.
It was unclear as of this writing if Simpron was able to post bail./PN
